From Mutschnengia you will have a breathtaking view of snow capped mountains and green ralleys. The town of Curaglia itself is only 1.2 km walking distance. The next town on, Disentis, is abundart with summer and winter sports, and is only 10 minutes drive – also of which there is a major ski/ wintersports complex with it`s own cable car. As it`s natural beauty, Mutschnengia offers rivalling architectural beauty with a newly built bridge and is only 1 km away from the climbing garden.
Winter
We love to offer you nearly the whole winter season white snow, blue sky, no clouds on a high of 1400 metres above sea level.
Hotel Cuntera is located only 15 minutes by car from the ski area Disentis3000. Most skiers dream of fresh powder snow and off-piste skiing! Disentis is the ultimate paradise for freeriders, while those who prefer to enjoy the magic of the slopes with a unique mountain backdrop are sure to find what they’re looking for in the ski area of Sedrun. The link to the Andermatt ski area means that visitors can look forward to an exciting and varied day of skiing. Switch off, enjoy a little peace and tranquillity, and recharge your batteries. We recommend soaking up the sun on one of our many terraces – high above Disentis and Sedrun, or in the heart of the action in one of the “ustrias” (Rhaeto-romanic for restaurant) in the village. This could be your next winter holiday in the Swiss mountains.
Summer
The natural beauty of our mountain valley will leave a lasting impression. Discover the Val Medel on a more than 100 km comprehensive network of hiking trails.
You have many possibilities for ride your mountain bike, fishing from may to September, radiate crystals, explore the way of the senses, but also use the seclusion for the perfect setting of your seminar. A large children’s area with barbecue grill station can be found directly on the downhill besides the Medelser Rhine. Also just 1 km up you will find a beautifully landscaped barbecue area with a panoramic view of Oberalp about Toedi up to the mountains of Flims.
After your hike, we expect you to take a refreshing aperitif on our sunny garden terrace.
